China imposed lockdown in its city Yuzhou after getting new cases of Corona

Beijing has taken a “zero-Covid” approach with strict border restrictions and targeted lockdowns ever since cases of the coronavirus first emerged, but their strategy is now in trouble.

After the arrival of the new variant Omicron of Kovid-19, once again the increase in cases has created an atmosphere of concern around the world. Meanwhile, a lockdown was imposed here after receiving three cases of corona virus in Yuzhou, a city with a population of more than one million in central China. Ever since the cases of coronavirus first started appearing,Since then, Beijing has adopted a “zero COVID” approach with strict border restrictions and lockdowns. But this strategy of his is now in trouble, because there is only one month left for the Winter Olympics to start and cases of corona have started coming up from place to place in the country. Yuzhou, a city in Henan province with a population of about 1.2 million people, announced that from Monday night all citizens are required to stay home to control the spread of the virus.

Although the reported cases are low compared to other countries of the world, the new coronavirus cases reported in recent weeks are the highest in China since March 2020. 95 fresh cases were reported in Xi’on on Tuesday, in this historic city with a population of 13 million, the lockdown has been going on for the last two weeks.

This step was taken after three cases of coronavirus were reported in the last two days. The city had already announced that it was shutting down bus and taxi services and closing shopping malls, museums and tourist sites.

On Tuesday, 175 new Kovid-19 cases were reported in China, including five in Henan province and eight in a separate cluster linked to a garment factory in the eastern city of Ningbo.
